Hotel Edelweiss - Goetzens

I found a clean room with fine mountain views, but the bed was old and the pillows were a joke. Breakfast was decent, though, heaps of choice! Chur!

great breakfast with a great selection of options, nicely presented and fairly clean place. spotlessly clean, brand-new room with an individual safe, a sofa bed and central heating. competent personnel, extremely comfy bed.

Property was well-run, I enjoyed the stay.

It was really close to two supermarkets, Italy and the ski lift at Gotzens, excellent location overall.

Fine views but dated comfort

Woke up to sweeping vistas of the Alps, and the cozy bar area created a lovely atmosphere for interactions among guests. The free ski bus was a definite plus.

Unfortunately, the room felt quite outdated and lacked cleanliness, with peculiar odors lingering and minimal amenities available. The breakfast options were quite limited, leaving a lot to be desired.

Edelweiss offered an acceptable experience for a business trip. The room was well furnished and very clean, with a comfortable ambience for work. The all-inclusive deal provided excellent value, and the ski bus stop was conveniently located just a couple of minutes away. The staff were approachable, contributing positively to my overall stay.

Some evening meal options were rather bland.

The views from the balcony were amazing, and the food was fresh and delicious. After my previous visits to goetzens, this experience made me excited to return next year!

I loved my stay here because I could explore the quaint village and enjoy the amazing views of the surrounding mountains from my room, making every step of my city stroll feel magical.

The room decor felt dated and basic, lacking any real charm or modern amenities, like a kettle or coffee maker. The bathroom fixtures were aged, with some guests mentioning inconvenient issues like broken shower doors. I also noticed the breakfast variety was quite limited, which also didn't inspire confidence for the evening meals that were described as unimaginative. The Wi-Fi connection was poor. Lastly, the check-in experience was a bit disorganized, with no reception staff available before 5 pm, leaving a rather unwelcoming first impression.

Had a wonderful time enjoying the stunning views right from my room and the delicious breakfast that had so many tasty choices! The wellness facilities, like the sauna and the steam room, were lovely spots to unwind after a day out. Just a heads up, the TV in my room was a bit outdated, but it didn’t ruin my overall experience. 😊

It was just an ideal choice for a weekend jaunt in Goetzens with very good value for money. The access to the free ski bus was super convenient for hitting the slopes. Make sure to check the timings for the bus as it can get busy during peak hours.

The restaurant was welcoming with good cheap food and big portions, we ordered savoury dishes. the huge bathroom was the best. - the location was peaceful and lovely, for example, Vellenberg Castle was within walking distance of the hotel.

The whole place was fairly clean with incredible views. Peaceful and very pretty location in a beautiful area surrounded by mountains. - Our room was a nice size and well-appointed, offering a living room, a kitchenette area, and a balcony.

The hotel is conveniently located near a variety of restaurants, a ski area with nursery and challenging slopes, chairlifts, supermarkets, bakeries. the breakfast at the hotel offers a wide variety of delicious local dishes.

The breakfast here is excellent with a variety of food options and the check-in process is straightforward with on-site parking available.
